Here in Rome the summer seems to be clinging on, with only a light chill of a winter breeze blowing in the evening. I am taking advantage of the warmer weather by wearing one of my favourite CUE dresses from Australia. I love this dress as it is so light and yet still has the structure that I love. The colour is a blue/purple and I have paired it with my pony hair leopard belt, to add a bit of fun. My flats are a Primark buy, from when I was last in Ireland. A bargain and on trend with the pointed toes. I am definitly overwearing them though, as the small stones of Rome’s streets don’t take well to a heels ! I want to invest in a similar pair, any suggestions?
That’s all for now,
Love Dani xx
Here is a new outfit post from last night. The pictures are taken in South Perth, with a full view of the city. I decided to wear an old little black dress with lace panelling I picked up in Bebe in Santa Barbara when I spent the summer there 4 years ago, with my girlfriends.
Its a classic dress that I chose because I wanted to wear my new handmade black and leopard earrings, a perfectly chosen Christmas gift, given to me by Lorenzo’s sister Marta. I got two pairs, one in black with leopard detail and the other in white with black jewel detail.
They are so beautiful. I wanted to show them off last night, so I wore my hair pulled back, the simple black dress and matched the leopard in the earrings with my leopard heels. I finished it out with my gold woven clutch.
These earrings made me think instantly of the trademarks of Italian label Dolce and Gabbana, Sicilian lace and sexy leopard. They are so beautifully handmade.
Thats all for now. You can also hype this look on lookbook
Here are some snaps from a recent weekend trip to Rottnest Island. I finally managed to get a Saturday off work to enjoy the beautiful beaches and landscape of this little treasure. Me and Lorenzo hired bikes to get around the island as there are no cars. We spent our days exploring and our night at the open air beach bar with live music. It was such a relaxing weekend and I hope to go back soon!
My outfit post is from one of the nights. I kept it easy with my favourtie white t-shirt and paired it with my new pleated pink/coral skirt from Forever New along with my leopard, calf hair belt from Veronika Maine. I got this belt to go with my long orange maxi dress I wore to the wedding in Croatia. Still haven’t tried it out yet.
Thats all for now,
Let me know your thoughts,
I always love to hear your comments,
Love Dani xx
When I am not working I usually enjoy my day off by sleeping in, browsing the shops and doing the washing. However now and again I like to plan a day off and actually do something rather than feel like I wasted the day. So last week I decided to go on a wine tour with my boyfriend. Yes, I do love a good glass of red when I get home after a long day of work, who doesn’t, but it was great to learn a little more about the good stuff. Something I learned? Always hold the glass by the stem, otherwise the heat from your hands will heat up the wine and it won’t taste as good. However I will admit I was feeling a little light headed after a couple sips, afterall we did start at 10am.
That day the sun was shining and I could definitely feel that summer is on the way. Yay !
It being the weekend I wanted to wear something comfortable but that doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish right?? So I decided to wear my SportsGirl electric blue knit, a birthday gift from Lorenzo with my hollister skinny jeans and new snake skin wedges. Trading leopard for snake I bagged these babies on my lunch break at Wittner. They were having one day of 80% off ! I couldn’t resist.
What do you like to do on your day off?? I need more ideas 🙂
Ciao for now,
I have a day off today so I thought I would finally post some of my Australian adventure photos. Before coming to Australia one of the first things on my list was to see kangaroos. As a surprise my boyfriend took me to see the furry creatures on my birthday. We went to Cavasham wildlife park, just outside Perth.
Besides the kanagroos, some of the other animals could give Anna dello Russo a run for her money with there colourful emsembles.
Here I am wearing the brown safari type hat with leopard trim that I picked up in Rome from a second hand shop, for only 5 euros. Now I am not much of a hat person but I thought I would give it ago since I loved this hat so much. I kept it simple with a black knit, jeans and some lace up boots I have been wearing non-stop lately.
Thats all for now.
Well after a long absence I am making a quick post and an even quicker update on whats been going on! I moved to Perth two weeks ago (yes, Perth AUSTRALIA) and I have been so busy between packing before getting here and now trying to find a job and new digs.
Here are some photos in the meantime until I get more settled and get back to regular posting. These were taken on my last day in Rome. It was so hot, in the high 30s, so I was still running round in my short shorts. I recently picked up this new nail colour from Kiko, its a blue/purple colour and I was so excited to discover it matched my shorts exactly. There must of been some sub-concious fashion voices telling me I needed it !
The t-shirt was given to me by my super cool rock and roll aunt when I was in L.A. last year. She always has the best t-shirts and this one is no exception. It says ‘This guitar has seconds to live” and I love its distressed, vintage look!
Once again my leopard bag and shoes are making an appearance. The shoes are H&M and the satchel is Primark. Love leopard print obviously but I must admit this seasons trend for snake print may have me changing my mind…..
Thats all for now but stay tuned for a Perth update soon 🙂
Ciao for now xx

I love to travel. I love to visit new countries and be a tourist. But sometimes I don’t take advantage of being a tourist in my own country. However, today on a trip to Dublin I did more than just raid the shops on Grafton street. Taking a more cultural approach I visited the home of one of Ireland’s best exports. No not U2 ! The Guinness storehouse factory.
I was pleasantly surprised by the architecture of the building, with the centre resembling a Guinness glass. It was really modern and the layout of the buliding showed all the old machines for brewing the Guinness. The best part was the top level of the building, which had a bar with a full view of Dublin.
Today was scarily cold, even for Ireland, however, I was a bit more fashion than function in my wardrobe choice. I wore my new pink blazer from primark, which I love love. It reminds me of the bright colours used by Max Mara in their Spring summer collection. I paired it with my sisters Denim shirt, her grey jeans, my pink ballet flats and trusty leopard bag.
I am currently borrowing all of my sisters clothes (not that I didn’t before, its just now I have a good excuse) because I have left all my clothes in Rome as I will be going back there in August. I have to admit its fun having new clothes to work with !
I really enjoyed today and it’s reminded me of how beautiful Ireland is. I have a travelling bug so I think I am destined to roam this earth forever, however Ireland will always have a special place in my heart.
