You know what the best thing about fashion is? Its repetitiveness! Have you ever been in that situation where your wardrobe is over flowing and yet you just can’t seem to part with that favourite skirt or dress that you bought years ago? Sure it’s out of style and yes you haven’t worn it in this decade, however you hold on to it all in the genuine hope that it will be back!

Oh the glory and joy when it does come back and you can throw it in the face of your mother, sister or long suffering husband, who needed space for “his stuff”! Thank God you stuck to your guns (and inner hoarder) and didn’t part with this jewel of an item!

I had such a feeling recently when I watched the Dior Spring/Summer 2018 show. My eyes lit up at the sight of a black and white racer print splashed all over jackets, dresses and bags! I gloated in satisfaction that I already had such a piece and I would not have to fork out for ZARA’s copy next season.

I bought mine, ZARA of course, after the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 collection by Marc Jacobs. Although I have always loved it, it has been sitting on the bench for the last few seasons.

Most of you will have to wait until next season for this print to saturate the high street. However, in the meantime why not check out some of the images from the Dior and Louis Vuitton show below.

Love Dani xx
